A vacation at Kristalex Pet Friends Hotel is all about safety: we truly care about our guests, furry and otherwise, and we take care of everyone to ensure a quality stay. 
To make your vacation truly worry-free, we've taken special actions to guarantee your safety, always in accordance with current regulations.

Four-legged friends (Pet Policy)

Are dogs allowed in the hotel restaurant?
Yes, our hotel does have a dining room where dogs are allowed. It's divided into three separate areas so that their space can be better managed.
Can I leave my dog in the room?
Yes, our rooms are pet-friendly and can accommodate your dog, even large-sized ones. We only ask you to inform the reception of their presence in the room, if necessary.
Can I bring my cat?
Yes, we also allow cats in our pet-friendly hotel.
Do you allow large-sized dogs?
Yes, we allow dogs of all sizes, including large and extra-large dogs.
Can I bring more than one dog to the hotel?
Yes, you can bring more than one dog with you on vacation to our hotel. Please let us know when you make your reservation.
What is the Pet Menu?
Our pet menu is a special menu for your four-legged friend that includes dedicated chef-prepared dishes. Meals are prepared with meat (such as chicken, pork, or beef), white fish (strictly boneless), rice, and vegetables. The cost varies depending on the quantity, from a minimum of €5 to a maximum of €15.
Is it possible to vary the meals on the Pet Menu?
Yes, if you choose our Pet Menu, we can make changes, as far as possible and if you request it.
Do you provide dog beds and bowls?
Yes, dog beds and bowls are available. Just ask for them when you request a quote.
Do you provide dog-sitting service?
Yes, we provide dog-sitting service, which is available at the following rates:
●    €10 per hour
●    €60 per day
●    €100 for overnight service
May I bring my own dog food?
Yes, you may bring your own dog food to store in the refrigerator or freezer. You may request it as needed.

Beach and outdoor areas

Do you provide beach towels?
Yes, beach towel rental is available. We only ask for a small deposit of €10 per towel, with two changes per week. At the end of your stay, we will refund your deposit when you return the beach towels.
Can I bring my dog to the beach?
Yes, you can bring your dog to our partner beach and you can also request a special beach box for your and your dog's safety! For further information, please consult the Cesenatico Municipal Ordinance on dog behavior on the beach at this link.
Can my dog swim in the sea all day long?
No, dogs are not allowed to swim in the sea all day long in the area of our partner beach club, but only at certain times. You can only let your dog swim in the places and at the times established by the municipal ordinance of Cesenatico. You can consult the most recent ordinance at this link.
What is the Beach Box?
Our beach boxes are located within our affiliated beach resort. ​These are umbrellas and sunbeds enclosed by wood and bamboo, creating a private area on the beach where you can safely move around with your four-legged friend. ​We recommend it for those who want to relax with the peace of mind that their dog won't be disturbed, bother neighbors, or run off while you grab a coffee at the bar.
Are there any dog walking areas?
Yes, there are areas dedicated to walking dogs near our hotel. There are two dog walking areas in Cesenatico: one is Parco di Ponente and the other is Parco di Levante.

Restaurant and meals

What are the meal times?
Breakfast is served from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., while the buffet dinner is open from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Is it possible to request lunch instead of dinner in the half-board option?
No, half board at our hotel includes breakfast and dinner, only in this combination.
Are drinks included?
Yes, drinks are included with meals.
Can I request vegan or vegetarian menus?
Yes, vegan or vegetarian menus can be requested, but only in advance.
Can I request meals for people with celiac disease and food intolerances?
We can prepare dishes for people who suffer from food intolerances, but we cannot guarantee that there will be no cross-contamination. Please ask our dining room and kitchen staff or reception for more information.
Is breakfast at the café included?
No, the coffee service must be requested from the dining room staff during breakfast hours.
Are lactose-free products available for breakfast?
Yes, during breakfast you can request yogurt and lactose-free drinks.
Can I have dinner at the hotel even if I booked a B&B?
Yes, although dinner is not included in our B&B option, you can add it at a cost of €20 per adult, while children up to 12 years old pay only €10 each.

Rooms and room amenities

When I arrive at the hotel, can I go straight to my room?
Our check-in time is 2:00 p.m., so rooms are available from 2:00 p.m. onwards. If you arrive earlier, you can enjoy the beach in the meantime, if you have purchased access.
What if I can't have breakfast on the day of departure? Can I make it up later?
If you leave before breakfast on the last day of your vacation, you can enjoy breakfast on the day of arrival.
Do you have sea-facing rooms?
No, the hotel is located about 250 meters from the beach, so it does not have a direct view of the sea. However, it is surrounded by lush vegetation, which makes our rooms very quiet.
What's the difference between a Smart Room and a Comfort Room?
Our Comfort Room has a balcony, while the Smart Room does not have a balcony.
Is there a refrigerator in the room?
Yes, there is a refrigerator in the room, but it is available upon request at no extra charge.
What are the room cleaning hours?
Rooms are cleaned from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. If you have special needs, you can make arrangements with the housekeeper to have your room cleaned at a specific time. Rooms are not cleaned once a week, but on that day you can request towels if necessary.

Services and rates

What are the reception hours?
Reception is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Are there discounts for military personnel and hospital staff?
Yes, we offer a 10% discount, which can be combined with other currently available offers, for armed forces and hospital staff.
Do you accept Edenred vouchers?
Yes, if you have an Edenred voucher, please let us know when requesting a quote.
Do you have agreements with theme parks, museums, or other tourist attractions?
No, at the moment we do not have agreements with points of interest in the area such as parks, museums, or other attractions.
Is it possible to settle the bill at the hotel?
Yes, you can pay your hotel bill using our accepted payment methods, such as cash, debit cards, and credit cards.
Is there parking?
Yes, there's a municipal parking lot next to our hotel.

Do you have rooms on the ground floor?
No, we do not have rooms on the ground floor.
Do you have rooms for people with disabilities?
No, we do not have rooms for guests with disabilities.
Is the hotel accessible for guests with reduced mobility?
No, there are no architectural barriers. Our hotel is accessible for guests with reduced mobility.
Does the elevator go to all floors?
Yes, our elevator allows you to reach all floors of the hotel, from the ground floor to the fourth floor.
Is the panoramic terrace accessible at night?
Yes, you can access the terrace at night, but the Jacuzzi is only available upon reservation. Just let us know if you want to use it!
